Kim Gallagher
Founder & DirectorKim founded Roofrite after beginning his roofing career in New Zealand and further developing his expertise in Melbourne. By 1995, he was ready to establish his own company — and Roofrite was born.
Guided by Kim’s extensive industry experience, Roofrite’s team brings technical expertise and attention to detail to every project, ensuring consistently high-quality outcomes. Today, Kim and Roofrite are recognised throughout the construction sector for their roofing and rectification expertise, and for their commitment to achieving the best results for every client.
Paula Withington
Administration & HRPaula has been part of Roofrite since its inception, bringing a wealth of experience from diverse industries including personnel, accountancy, and media. She ensures the smooth running of the business and supports the team with professionalism and care.
With a strong background in business management and a keen interest in industry governance, Paula contributes to Roofrite’s commitment to best practice and excellence, reinforced through the company’s active involvement with the Master Plumbers Association.
Shannon Halliwell
Chief Executive OfficerShannon joined Roofrite as Chief Financial Officer before stepping into the CEO role, bringing extensive experience in finance, strategy, and business growth. His career includes senior leadership roles across national logistics and cleaning companies, where his guidance helped drive significant growth and operational excellence.
Shannon also has deep expertise advising trade-based companies — from building and plumbing to earthworks — with client revenues up to $80 million. At Roofrite, he combines practical insight with disciplined strategy to ensure sustainable growth, strong operations, and outstanding outcomes for both clients and the team.

Founded in Melbourne in 1995, Roofrite began as a small family business led by Director and licensed roof plumber Kim Gallagher, alongside Co-Founder Paula Withington, who manages Administration and HR.
Over the years, Roofrite has grown into a trusted name across residential, commercial, and remedial roofing projects.
Today, the tradition continues with their daughter Millie joining the team, bringing hands-on trade experience and a sharp eye for detail to the Sales and Estimating division, proudly continuing the family’s commitment to compliance excellence.
