Converting dead space into an outdoor haven with Makrolon Twinwall
The client wanted to utilise for indoor/outdoor entertaining a small disused space at the side of the property. The area was only 2m x 2m – too small to grow anything and basically, an outdoor dead patch as it was.
The client had his builder knock out a wall and install a deck. Roofrite then built a Colorbond steel pergola between the existing brick walls and covered the structure with Makrolon Twinwall roofing.
The project took us 2 days to install the steel work and then cover the structure with Makrolon Twinwall polycarbonate roofing.
The Preston property now has a useable indoor/outdoor area that is protected in all weather for a small outlay.
Roofrite’s quote was in the vicinity of $4,000 – $5,000 and included the steel supporting structure, box guttering and flashings.
